Responsibilities:

● Provide nursing care in the clinic’s various care settings.
● Intervene based on the best scientific evidence, ensuring the implementation of quality standards.
● Timely document nursing interventions performed.
● Promote patient autonomy, patient and family empowerment, and adherence to treatment.
● Communicate effectively with the patient and family.
● Participate in and promote actions that aim to articulate different levels of healthcare.
● Actively participate in continuous improvement processes within the scope of your professional intervention.
● Record incidents.
● Promote and participate in national or international research programs and projects.
● Collaborate in the training and skills development process of other professionals.
● Participate in the management and organization of the nursing team’s work.
● Solve care and organizational issues.
● Support clinic management and coordinate the unit’s teams and projects.
● Substitute the Head Nurse in their absence.

 

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid professional license to practice in Portugal
● Specialization in a relevant area recognized by the Nursing Board
● 2 years of experience in dialysis techniques
● Proficiency in Portuguese and English (preferred)
● Knowledge of quality systems (preferred)
● Previous experience in leadership, shift management, and/or team coordination
● Personal Skills: Leadership and People Development; Initiative; Critical Thinking; Decision-Making; Communication; Conflict Management; and Teamwork
