At Diaverum, we're thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals to join our Blackburn team as Dialysis Assistants. 🏥 In this vital role, you'll support our nursing staff and deliver top-notch care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting registered nurses in providing comprehensive dialysis treatment.
- Preparing, restoring, and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.
- Monitoring and stocking consumable supplies to ensure smooth operation.
- Escorting patients to and from the clinical area.
- Contributing to patient documentation and managing phone inquiries.
- Providing hands-on care under supervision, including preparing patients for dialysis, monitoring during treatment, and assisting with post-dialysis care.
Requirements:
- GCSE education and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
- At least two years of experience as a Care Assistant, with a focus on high-level patient care.
- Proficiency in English and working knowledge of MS Office.
- A compassionate and diligent approach to patient care.

- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week), with paid breaks.
- Monday to Saturday shifts, with no night or Sunday work.
- Competitive Salary of up to £27,758 depending on relevant experience.
- Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours
- 35 Days Holiday (inclusive of 8 days bank holiday) increasing with service.
