We are offering a position as Head Nurse in one of our dialysis clinics in Lisbon.
This role involves managing the nursing care provided to patients, in accordance with Diaverum’s professional standards, procedures, and guidelines. It also includes efficient management of human and material resources, while fostering both personal and professional growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the quality of healthcare provided to patients;

Ensure the unit operates in compliance with current legislation and Diaverum procedures;

Promote and participate in national or international research programmes and projects;

Oversee the development of team members’ skills and competencies;

Plan, coordinate, and lead nursing interventions;
-
Promote and apply Diaverum’s clinical quality standards and procedures;
-
Implement nursing care quality standards;
-
Drive clinical research initiatives;

Take responsibility for training and professional development activities;

Implement and monitor the Quality and Environmental Management System;

Monitor nursing-sensitive quality indicators;
-
Manage material resources efficiently to ensure optimal service delivery.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and valid professional license;

Nursing specialization;
-
At least 5 years of professional experience in Nephrology, including a minimum of 2 years in dialysis techniques;

Training in team management;
-
Proficiency in Portuguese and English (preferred);

Knowledge of quality and environmental systems (preferred);
Personal competencies: Leadership, Initiative, Critical Thinking, Decision-Making, Communication, Conflict Management, Teamwork.
