Join our team at Diaverum as the Global Procurement Specialist, where you will serve as one of the main interface for country and regional operations. Reporting directly to the VP Global procurement & Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role for optimizing cost, data and processes in assigned areas.

About the role:

You will apply your skills to support other members of the procurement team in managing global supply documents, including policies, guidelines, and KPIs, while contributing to the development of processes and systems that enhance operational performance. Supplier selection will be driven through the RFI/RFQ process in close collaboration with the VP of Global Operational Excellence. You will oversee contract management to ensure compliance and performance tracking, leading contract negotiations and managing supplier projects as needed. Category data and strategies will be presented to internal stakeholders, and you will participate in budgetary and strategic planning processes. Monthly country calls will be coordinated to address concerns and communicate updates, and you will collaborate with the ESG department to evaluate suppliers.

You will have the authority to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions as delegated by the VP of Global Operational Excellence, as well as to negotiate Frame Agreements as delegated by the VP of Procurement & Supply Chain.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position should have a university degree or equivalent relevant work experience within the sector. Around 5 years of relevant experience are required. Additionally, a strong knowledge in the category area, including technology, negotiation, communication, and supplier management is essential. Leadership, networking, presentation, time management, and business skills are crucial. An understanding of the market and the company, as well as analytical and strategic thinking skills, will be valued. Moreover, the candidate should display strong qualities of ownership and commitment.
