As we develop our Global Patient Care Platform, we are expanding our HR team and currently seeking candidates for the position of VP HR Europe & LatAm and Global Operations. This role involves 30% to 50% travel and can be based in any of the European countries where we operate.

ABOUT THE JOB 💼
The VP HR Europe & LatAm and Global Operations will have a dual responsibility. Firstly, the role will serve as a key member of the leadership teams in Europe and Latin America, driving the operational HR agenda across 18 countries in the region. Secondly, the role will oversee all joint HR functions for the Diaverum business, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and HR systems. The aim is to enhance workplace culture, boost employee engagement, and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent across the business in close cooperation with the VP HR for MEA. The VP HR reports directly to the COO Europe & LatAm, with a strong dotted line to the CHCO.
1. HR Business Partnering in Europe & LatAm:
- Provide HR support and strong business partnership to the COO for Europe & LatAm.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering expert advice, guidance, and coaching to senior managers in HR matters such as learning and development, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Support the development of a high-performing regional team.
- Mentor and provide active support to Country HR teams in Europe & LatAm on all HR-related topics.
- Deploy the global HR strategy to ensure consistency and standardization across countries.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new country management team members, ensuring structured development plans.
- Coach and support country management leaders.
- Lead labor efficiency projects and initiatives.
- Monitor country-specific KPIs and initiate necessary actions.
2. Leading Global Diaverum HR Functions:
- Lead and develop joint Diaverum HR functions, including C&B, Talent Acquisition, L&D, HR Systems, and HR projects.
- Ensure that joint HR functions support all parts of the business to create a unified employee experience.
- Drive HR initiatives, including the annual "My Opinion Counts" (MOC) survey.
- Foster exchange between countries and structure global HR communications in collaboration with the VP HR MEA.
- Collaborate with the VP HR MEA to plan and organize global HR meetings and calls.
- Understand critical country needs to drive HR system developments.
- Oversee the development of C&B policies and mobility frameworks for top management and key personnel.
- Ensure HR systems are effectively supporting business needs, including key module development.
ABOUT YOU 🌟
You bring at least seven years of experience, ideally gained in global HR roles or international teams. Your background includes P&L responsibility and leadership positions, with proven success in remote working environments and managing multicultural teams in diverse settings.
You excel at alternating between strategic vision and hands-on operational execution, ensuring effective decision-making. With a university degree in finance, HR, or management, complemented by fluent English, you thrive in international companies. Your digital savviness enables you to adapt to technological advancements, driving innovative solutions.
Experience in the healthcare sector or other people-intensive industries is highly valued. An MBA and coaching certification are advantageous, reflecting your commitment to team development and growth. Additional language proficiency is highly regarded, as is familiarity with global HR systems and expertise in Compensation and Benefits.
