About the Role:
Assists in managing the human and material resources of the clinic in the best effective in order to provide a proactive, safe and quality patient centered care in an environment which encourages staff to growth.
Key responsibilities:
Management of staff
Provides assistance to staff in accordance with the goals of the organizational
▪ Counsels employees and advises the Head Nurse of appropriate actions.
▪ Assists in scheduling staff in a manner that ensures quality care standards and promotes optimal use of staff.
▪ In consultation with the Head Nurse, may adjust staff schedules to provide adequate coverage and safe patient care.
▪ Advises and informs staff about implementation of policies and procedures.
▪ Keeps the Head Nurse informed of problems or personnel issues within the clinic.
▪ Promotes open and participative communication among staff.
▪ Maintains a flexible schedule to be available to staff members.
▪ Provides a climate in which staff can readily participate in change or innovations.
▪ Assists with new Employee Orientation, probation period and renewal Evaluation.
▪ Evaluates together with clinic mentors and Head Nurse all new medical staff after probation period.
Management of the Clinic
Assists with management of the clinic to encourage quality patient care and staff satisfaction
▪ Monitors safety, cleanliness, and security standards.
▪ Regularly evaluates and monitors the use and replacement of equipment and supplies.
▪ Assists with the preparation of monthly reports concerning goals, achievements and problems of the clinic.
▪ Ensure implementation of Risk Management (RM) policy in assessing potential risk, planning and implementation of action plans.
▪ Makes recommendations to the Head Nurse in order to improve.
Management of Care
Works to ensure the delivery of quality patient care
▪ Assists with the development of, and provides input for clinic specific standards.
▪ Ensures the utilization of quality assurance standards and protocols.
▪ Supervises and evaluates the quality of nursing and patient care through patient rounds and specific quality assurance projects.
▪ Facilitates liaison with medical and non-medical staff in coordinating multi-disciplinary activities for patient care.
▪ Keeps the Head Nurse informed about patient problems and issue affecting patient care.
▪ Participates in patient and family education.
▪ Cooperates with Country Nursing Manager to ensure that audit action plans are completed
▪ Contribute and supports the Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QPS) strategies and projects.
▪ Protect the privacy and confidentiality of the information at all times.
Management and Communication
Interacts effectively with patients, family and staff to maintain standards of professional care to patients and families
▪ Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural and religious beliefs through a caring, respectful attitude, presentation and delivery.
▪ Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills using recognized medical terminology.
▪ Promotes positive working relationships within the team.
▪ Uses supplies and resources in a cost-effective manner.
Educational Responsibilities
Promotes professional growth and development of staff
▪ Provides input to assist in identifying the learning needs of staff in the clinic.
▪ Participates actively in the process to coordinate on-going professional development of staff.
▪ Assumes responsibility for own learning and development needs.
▪ Acts as role model for all staff.
▪ Supervises the on-going review and practice of emergency procedures by the unit staff.
▪ Ensures the follow up of the clinical competencies of d.academy Nurse Education program together with Head nurse and clinic mentors
Qualifications:
Education
– Registered Nurse, Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Experience
– Minimum of 4 years’ experience in dialysis
– Successfully passed a Hemodialysis Training Program
– Certified in BCLS and preferably in ACLS
– Certified and registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Languages
– Good communication skill preferably both in English and Arabic
