Building on a strong foundation and continued growth across the Kingdom, Diaverum Saudi Arabia is entering a new phase of opportunity, with an expanding portfolio of strategic priorities and initiatives. The Head of Project Management Office (PMO) will play a key role in helping translate these ambitions into coordinated accountable and measurable delivery.

Reporting to the Value Creation and Growth Director, the role sits at the centre of execution excellence, bringing structure and visibility across the designated strategic portfolio and supporting effective coordination and timely leadership decision-making.

The role

Head of Project Management Office

Head of PMO will manage the day-to-day operation of Diaverum Saudi Arabia’s strategic execution model and support a structured rhythm across the organisation.

In this role, you will act as the central governance and coordination point for the designated strategic initiatives, helping ensure approved priorities are translated into clear, time-bound execution plans with visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, decisions and expected outcomes.

You will work closely with functional leaders across Medical, Commercial and Operations, Finance, Digital & IT, Human Capital and other functions.

What you will do

Execution Excellence and Strategic Rhythm

  • Coordinate the execution rhythm, connecting strategic priorities, annual commitments and structured cycles.
  • Translate approved priorities into clear, time-bound plans with defined ownership, milestones, expected outcomes and decision points.
  • Ensure initiatives entering the strategic portfolio have sufficient clarity around scope, objectives, resources, dependencies and key risks.

Strategic Portfolio and Executive Decision Support

  • Maintain a consolidated view of designated strategic priorities, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies and areas requiring intervention.
  • Assess whether initiatives remain aligned with their objective and expected value and recommend appropriate actions where needed.
  • Prepare concise, decision-ready executive briefs to support timely leadership discussion and action.

PMO Capability and Digital Intelligence

  • Apply and maintain agreed project management frameworks, methodologies, templates and execution tools.
  • Maintain digital tools and dashboards that provide timely and transparent visibility.
  • Use automation and AI-enabled tools, where appropriate, to streamline reporting, risk and dependency tracking and executive briefing.

Who you are

You are a structured, outcome-oriented professional with strong discipline. You have the confidence to work across functions and levels of seniority and are comfortable operating in ambiguity, recognise when decisions or escalation are required, and bring clarity and follow-through to complex delivery environments.

Experience and qualifications

Diaverum Saudi Arabia is looking for someone with experience in project, programme, portfolio management or strategy execution, and the confidence to work across functions and with senior stakeholders.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project, programme, portfolio management, Project Management Office or strategy execution, including cross-functional initiatives.
  • Recognised project or programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, PMI-PMOCP or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret portfolio information, identify trends and delivery risks, and translate them into clear recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, written and verbal.

Experience in the following areas will help you succeed

  • Digital project and portfolio management platforms, dashboards and collaboration tools.
  • Portfolio reporting across milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions and outcomes.
  • Structured planning and execution cycles across multiple initiatives.
  • Microsoft 365 tools, including Power BI, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Working across clinical, operational and corporate functions.

What gives you an edge

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, particularly within a complex or regulated organisation.
  • Experience within healthcare, particularly multi-site healthcare delivery, chronic care or similarly complex service environments.
  • Experience working in or with the Saudi healthcare system and its regulatory environment.
  • Confidence using automation, AI and advanced analytics to strengthen portfolio visibility and executive decision support.
