Diaverum is a Swedish-born, multinational healthcare organisation providing life-enhancing renal care to patients with chronic kidney disease. With more than 15,000 employees across 25 countries, and over 1,400 colleagues in 33 cities and towns across the Kingdom, we combine global experience with strong local presence. Our vision is to transform renal care by broadening access to high-quality kidney care. This is enabled by our standardised care delivery model, continuously evolving digital and AI capabilities, and people who care with competence, passion and inspiration.

At Diaverum, communication is about more than sharing information. It is about bringing to life the stories of our patients, our people and the transformation of renal care across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and around the world.

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist who can help tell those stories with clarity, creativity and purpose — strengthening how Diaverum connects with internal and external audiences across content, campaigns, digital channels, brand and events.

The role

Marketing and Communications Specialist

In this role, you will support the planning and execution of Diaverum Saudi Arabia’s integrated marketing and communications agenda across internal and external communications, brand, digital channels, campaigns and events at the headquarter, cluster and clinic levels.

You will develop and coordinate content across multiple formats and channels, working closely with internal stakeholders, Diaverum Global Marketing and Communications, agencies and external partners.

You will help ensure our communications are timely, relevant, well planned and consistently reflect Diaverum’s brand, True Care culture and For Life values of Competence, Passion and Inspiration.

What you do

Integrated Marketing, External Communications and Campaigns

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communication activities across internal and external audiences.
  • Develop and coordinate campaigns and content for key business priorities, services, events, exhibitions and initiatives, including local activation of global campaigns.
  • Draft and coordinate external communication materials, including corporate announcements, news stories, social media content, stakeholder materials and media-facing content where required.
  • Coordinate with Global Marketing and Communications, internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners to ensure timely and consistent delivery.

Brand, Content and Digital Presence

  • Maintain consistent application of Diaverum’s brand identity, tone of voice, visual standards and approved messaging across communication materials and channels.
  • Develop, adapt and quality-check content and branded materials across digital, print, presentation, campaign and event formats.
  • Maintain and coordinate Diaverum Saudi Arabia’s website, social media channels, digital screens and other approved communication platforms.
  • Coordinate briefs and deliverables with designers, photographers, videographers, translators, production partners and other approved providers.

Internal Communication and Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate internal communication across HQ, clusters and clinics, ensuring employees receive timely, relevant and accessible organisational information.
  • Maintain and develop SharePoint “Intranet” as an active platform for leadership communication, company updates, recognition, culture, onboarding and organisational connection.
  • Coordinate employee-facing communication and campaigns including leadership messages, recognition activities, True Care initiatives and employee Wellbeing communication.
  • Support communication for onboarding, awards, seniority recognition and other approved employee initiatives.

Planning, Performance and Quality Assurance

  • Maintain the annual marketing and communications calendar, supported by rolling quarterly and monthly plans.
  • Monitor campaign, channel and communication performance and recommend practical improvements to reach, engagement, content and delivery.
  • Track timelines, dependencies and communication risks, escalating matters requiring management input where needed.
  • Ensure communication outputs are appropriately approved, brand-compliant, professionally presented and suitable for the intended audience and channel.

Who you are

You are a proactive, creative and audience-focused communications professional who combines attention to detail with strong ownership and follow-through.

You are comfortable working across functions, can manage multiple priorities independently and maintain quality in a fast-moving environment. You bring sound judgement to sensitive or external-facing communication and approach challenges with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

Experience and qualifications

Diaverum Saudi Arabia is looking for someone with hands-on experience across marketing and communications who can work confidently across content, campaigns, brand and digital channels.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, brand, content or digital communication roles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating internal and external communication content, campaigns and digital activities across multiple channels.
  • Strong writing, editing and content-development skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and communication formats.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and communication requirements independently.
  • Good understanding of brand management, digital communication, campaign performance and the application of brand and communication standards.

What gives you an edge

  • Experience within healthcare, a multi-site organisation or another complex service environment.
  • Experience working with regional or global Marketing and Communications teams and adapting corporate initiatives for local audiences.
  • Experience coordinating with creative, media, PR, digital or production agencies and external communication partners.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi media, digital and healthcare communication environment.
  • Strong AI literacy, including research, ideation, copy, visual and video content creation, editing and communication planning, while maintaining brand, quality and governance standards.

Why this role matters
