The position:
For our HQ office in Rome we are looking for a Finance Controller, with a focus on labour costs of employees and consultants, but with the possibility to expand the area of responsibility also on other controlling and reporting activities.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an ongoing relationship with the external payroll provider to ensure the correct construction and allocation of employee-related costs
- Collaboration with the Operations and HR departments for the correct preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts related to personnel costs (employees and consultants)
- Management of monthly closures with focus on clinic personnel costs
- Updating of provisions for contributions and performance/incentive bonuses
- Analysis of deviations from the budget/forecast and identification of the main deviation factors (holidays, overtime, bonuses, etc.), monitoring the main KPIs related to personnel costs
- Definition and implementation of methodologies for personnel cost reporting
- Creation of monthly reports for monitoring KPIs (headcount, FTE, holidays, etc.)
- Continuous business support through in-depth ad hoc analyses
Requirements:
- Master's degree in finance, economics, management engineering or similar
- At least 3 years' experience in controlling personnel costs in structured companies (knowledge of salary dynamics, contributions, etc.)
- Knowledge of payroll accounting (contributions, holidays, leave, etc.)
- Experience in preparing a labour cost budget
- Sound knowledge of Excel
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good knowledge of English
- Planning and organisation
- Aptitude for teamwork
- Proactivity and flexibility
- Having worked in complex contexts, with organisation of work according to shift patterns and volume ratios, is a plus
