Responsibilities:
Biomedical Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of dialysis machines, water treatment systems, and related biomedical equipment.
- Ensure all machines are compliant with regulatory standards and service requirements.
- Liaise with external vendors for repairs, servicing, and equipment upgrades when necessary.
- Maintain equipment service records and ensure timely documentation.
Clinic Operations Support
- Support daily clinic operations including inventory management, logistics, and procurement of medical consumables and supplies.
- Ensure all machines are compliant with regulatory standards and service requirements.
- Liaise with external vendors for repairs, servicing, and equipment upgrades when necessary.
- Maintain equipment service records and ensure timely documentation.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure proper waste disposal procedures and clinic cleanliness are adhered to in line with infection control protocols.
- Participate in internal audits, risk assessments, and ensure operational readiness for MOH and other regulatory inspections.
- Assist with clinic licensing renewals and equipment registration as required.
Team Coordination
- Work closely with clinic staff, including nurses and administrative teams, to ensure smooth clinic workflow.
- Provide technical guidance to nursing staff on basic troubleshooting of dialysis machines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or dialysis setting preferred.
- Knowledge of dialysis machines and water treatment systems is an advantage.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Able to work independently, multi-task, and manage timelines effectively.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid
- May be required to travel to other clinic sites for support.
- May need to respond to equipment issues outside of regular working hours.
