Finance Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and versatile Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This hybrid role will support both Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions, providing a comprehensive analysis of financial data, preparing reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting processes, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive informed decision-making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full set of accounts
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounts department, including oversight of South East Asia finance operations
  • Prepare monthly Financial and Management reports, including timely reporting and analysis of financial information
  • Support budgeting and forecasting exercise, including strategic planning.
  • Provide variance analysis by comparing actual financial performance against budgeted figures and explain discrepancies.
  • Undertakes financial analysis to support key initiatives, highlight any anomalies that require investigation
  • Formulate and review financial and operational policies, internal controls and procedures
  • Continuous review of work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency
  • Liaise with external auditors in annual financial audit and statutory reporting for the Group
  • Liaise with tax agents for annual tax filings
  • Other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • 3-5 years finance, accounting, or a combined role with experience in both accounting functions and financial planning & analysis
  • Experienced in ERP and management reporting tools.
  • Independent and has strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Organized, meticulous and a good team player
  • Auditing experience with Big four is an advantage
