Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care across the different clinical settings of the clinic
  • Intervene based on the best scientific evidence, ensuring the implementation of quality standards
  • Document nursing interventions in a timely manner
  • Promote patient autonomy, empowerment of the patient and their family, and adherence to treatment
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Participate in and promote initiatives aimed at coordinating different levels of healthcare
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement processes within the scope of professional practice
  • Record incidents
  • Promote and participate in national and international research programmes and projects
  • Support the training and development of other professionals’ competencies
  • Participate in the management and organisation of the nursing team’s work
  • Resolve clinical and organisational issues

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing and a valid professional licence
  • With or without experience in dialysis techniques
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English
  • Knowledge of quality systems
  • Personal competencies: Initiative; Critical thinking; Decision-making; Communication; Conflict management; Teamwork
