Objective
 

To guarantee excellence in the Facilities Management and Licensing process of the business, in terms of Asset Management of Buildings, Systems and Equipment, Facilities Services and infrastructure-related projects, generating operational efficiency, supporting business growth and transforming it through the development of intelligent digital building and systems solutions.
 

Key Intervention Areas
 

Strategic:

§ Supporting the Operations Director in the preparation, management and execution of budgets and investments related to Assets buildings, systems and related equipment;

§ Leading and managing the licensing and certification processes for health service provision units with the relevant bodies (Local Authorities, Health Regulatory Authority, Regional Health Administration, Directorate General for Cultural Heritage, Directorate General for Energy and Geology, etc. );

§ Manage the Facilities project portfolio to support strategic business objectives;

§ Lead and manage infrastructure implementation projects from the perspective of scope, cost control and execution time, interacting with the relevant partners;

§ Supporting the Operations Director in defining the partnership strategy and managing the network of partners relevant to Facilities management ;

§ Ensuring that service contracts are fulfilled, in accordance with what has been contracted with supplier partners. Evaluate supplier partners;

§ Defining and monitoring Facilities management performance KPIs ;

§ Preparing reports on the implementation of Facilities management activities.

Operational:

§ Ensure legal compliance of building assets, systems and equipment with applicable legislation and regulations. In the event of deviations from legal compliance, notify the management team and define and implement effective corrective measures;

§ Ensuring the availability of asset systems and equipment and their operation in efficient and safe conditions, including mechanical and electrical;

§ Defining the preventive maintenance plan, ensuring its suitability for each type of asset and its systems and equipment, maximising availability and optimising costs throughout its economic life;

§ Streamlining and coordinating corrective interventions, ensuring their effectiveness, suitability, technical approach, impact on activity and costs;

§ Managing the asset management / maintenance management application, ensuring that the information is up to date. Managing the ticketing system and the level of response to clinical teams;

§ Participating in the definition and monitoring of Service Levels and KPIs contracted with service providers.

§ Preparing the specifications for the service contractualisation process

§ Trigger inspections and/or operational audits to ensure the legal compliance of infrastructures, systems and equipment.

§ Ensure that processes and tools are implemented to ensure that all employees are properly trained;

§ Provide guidance and support to clinic management and employees, and ensure that all problems related to building assets, systems and equipment are identified, corrected and continuous improvement measures are induced;
 

Qualifications
 

Academic qualifications:

§ Degree, preferably in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrotechnical, Civil Engineering or Industrial Management;

§ Postgraduate or additional training in project management and/or maintenance management;

§ Safety and Environmental training will be valued.

Experience:

§ Professional experience in multinational companies, or professional experience in a diverse cultural context;

§ Experience in Facilities and Licensing in the area of Health Services will be valued;

§ Knowledge of building construction projects & systems.

§ Knowledge of technical installations - HVAC, Electricity and Security;

§ Experience in managing maintenance contracts for technical building installations or facility management;

§ Project management skills;

§ Experience in managing people;

§ Ease of travelling;

Languages:

§ Fluent in English (written and spoken)

§ Spanish and French valued

Information Technology

§ MS Office 365 from a user perspective (focus on Excel / Power Point)

§ CAD systems, such as Autocad or related for layouts and sketches

§ Extensive experience of using Maintenance Management Applications - CMMS and/or Asset Management
