The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Operations Director to lead and evolve our operations across Portugal.

This role will play a critical part in driving performance and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care, while strengthening operational excellence and supporting the continued growth of the organization. 

Scope and impact

• Lead the operational excellence of a nationwide clinical network, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Drive financial performance, aligned with strategic objectives
• Act as a key partner to senior leadership, including General Management and Medical Directors
• Optimize capacity, productivity, and sustainable growth
• Ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance in a regulated environment
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement
• Represent the organization with key stakeholders, including health authorities and partners 

Profile

We are looking for a leader with:

• Proven experience in senior operational leadership, ideally within healthcare or other complex service environments
• Strong track record in performance improvement and transformation
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple levels
• Strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution
• Experience in multinational or structured organizational environments
• Relevant academic background and fluency in English
