Finance Director – Diaverum UK 

 

📍 Location: St Albans (Parking available on site and based city centre) | ✈️ Travel: Approx. 20%

The Opportunity 

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our UK leadership team. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support Diaverum’s growth and operational excellence. The Finance Director will also serve as a member of the Diaverum UK Board of Directors. 

 

The selection process will include a 2 stage interview process, OPQ assessment and meeting the UK board in between 1st and 2nd stage interview. 

 

Key Responsibilities (inc but not limited to..) 

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance in line with IFRS and local standards
  • Oversee payroll, tax, treasury, and risk management functions
  • Drive performance improvement through business control and strategic planning
  • Support M&A activity, including financial due diligence and integration
  • Foster a high-performing finance team and promote continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with international finance leaders across Europe and LatAm

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CCAB)
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within healthcare but other sectors considered.
  • Strong background in accounting, tax, treasury, and business control
  • Experience working in international environments and reporting to global HQs
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g. Power BI, Kinetic, Aaro)
  • Commercially driven, adaptable, and a strategic thinker
  • Flexibility to work at both an operational and strategic level
